Harel Arush – JR dancer
Harel Arush was born in 2006 in Beer Sheva.
He started dancing at the age of six in the Bat-Dor Municipal Dance Center in Beer Sheva directed by Or Abuhav, the official school of Kamea Dance Company. Harel finished the RAD’s exams with the last exam “Advanced two”.
From 2022 to 2024 Harel received scholarships in classical ballet from AICF.
From 2019 to 2024 he received scholarships from the RAD competition in Israel for summer courses in Israel and in the UK. In December 2019 he won third place and received a scholarship to the Israeli ballet two weeks summer course. In December 2021 Harel won first place in the RAD competition and received a full scholarship for Elmhurst Ballet Summer School in Birmingham, where he participated in July 2022.
In March 2024 Harel won first place in the RAD competition for the second time and received a full scholarship for the Yorkshire Ballet Summer School.
In the CND competition Harel won first place from 2020 to 2022.
From 2019 to 2023 Harel participated in Kamea’s summer course and in 2021 he participated in the KCDC summer course.
Harel was also awarded the status of outstanding dancer in the IDF.
Harel joined Kamea Dance Company as a junior dancer from August 2024.

I studied with Tamir, watched so many of the company’s performances, and realized that this is the place for me—the place where I want to fulfill my dream. I feel so connected to Tamir’s style and to this place where I grew up, that I’ve always known it’s the right place for me.”
