Ariel Sherman

Ariel was born in Israel in 2004.

She began her dance education at the CityDance conservatory in Maryland, U.S.A. When she was only four years old. In 2012, she enrolled in the “Jerusalem ballet school” under the guidance of Nadia Timofeyeva.

She was invited to perform in the prestigious Mia Arbatova gala at the age of 14.

Ariel completed her high school studies at the Jerusalem Academy Of Music And Dance High School, led at the time by Evi Lifshitz, and received Outstanding Merit scholarships from The America- Israel Cultural Foundation for five consecutive years.

In 2021, she became a member of the “Jerusalem Ballet Company”, directed by Nadia Timofeyeva.

Ariel was granted the status of outstanding dancer in the IDF.

Ariel joined Kamea Dance Company as an apprentice in August 2022 and was promoted to junior dancer in August 2023.

Ariel was promoted to dancer in August 2024.

Kamea is the place where I want to keep developing professionally as it is a supportive and artistic environment. I am excited to have the chance to continue growing as a dancer with a talented group of artists from around the world who share my love for dance.
