Sharsheret – Partnership with KKL-JNF

By Tamir Ginz
An interactive dance experience for all ages
In "Sharsheret," audiences are welcomed into a circle that celebrates tradition and values, exploring the connections between people and between individuals and the land within the diverse tapestry of the Middle East. Through his distinct movement language, choreographer Ginz weaves themes of love for Israel, Zionist ideals, and sustainability into fresh, contemporary choreography. Performed in a 360° arena, this immersive show brings the audience close to the dancers, inviting them to become part of the experience. The performance features reimagined pieces from "Bamidbar Devarim" and "Mnemosyne", as well as original sections that capture the spirit of nature, community, and time. Sharsheret invites us to reconnect with our roots, rediscovering the joy of togetherness, the core values that shape the Israeli mosaic, and the feeling that we are all links in a single human, natural, and communal chain. This performance was created in collaboration with KKL-JNF as part of the "Maayanot" Festival, initiated by KKL-JNF in partnership with Co-Tarbut, the Cultural Coalition of the Negev and Galilee.
