Adi Salant received her training at the Bat-Dor Dance Studios in Tel Aviv, after a brilliant career as a leading dancer in the Bat-Sheva Dance Company, she was appointed co-artistic director of the Bat-Sheva Dance Company alongside Ohad Naharin, a position she held for 8 years. She staged Naharin’s works for companies around the world and developed herself as an independent choreographer. Adi works and creates in colleges and companies worldwide. In Israel she successfully created for “Fresco Dance Company” two years ago.

“During a creative process, I avoid committing myself in advance to a specific and closed narrative, I do arrive with a clear gut feeling, with the chosen energy with which I want to “play”. It is similar to a dream – you arrive at night with all the experiences, sensations, emotions that go through every day and finally discover what a dream has been realized, new angles on reality are revealed. This is how I come with the greatest inspiration, life, to the meeting with the dancers in the studio, and discover more and more while doing it…”, Adi Salant.

Dana Marcus, a graduate of the dance track of “Herzog” high school in Kfar Saba, a graduate of the dance trainee school in Gaaton and the Vertigo company’s dance training program. As an independent dancer she has performed with Celine Baumgratner, the Sally Anne Friedland Band, Kelly Ayash’s Bizar Ensemble, Abigail Ilan, the Israeli Opera, Sharon Friedman and more. Dana is a choreographer, dancer, artistic director at the “Naim” studio. Winner of the Minister of Culture and Sport’s award in the field of dance for young artists for 2021 and the Tel Aviv Municipality’s Rosenblum Award for promising young artists for 2022.

Dana’s works examine relationships between images and people in different ways each time. They are mainly characterized by movement research based on the language of contact and partnering and deals with examining the meaning of the body’s weight, the direction of movement and its speed when moving together and how the memory of the other body is expressed on the individual when moving alone.

The new program will inaugurate the Kamea home performance hall, which is currently being built with the kind support of the Goodman family from Chicago “Goodman foundations” and the Municipality of Beer Sheva.
