We were very proud and honored to be able to tour Germany for three weeks and bring our art to Europe, at these challenging time for the people of the world and especially to Israel. It was warm hearting to receive applause from thousands of fans. Seven performances in magnificent and huge theatres that were full to the brim, non-stop applause and enthusiastic stamping of the feet - as only the Germans to, ended each performance. The terrific feedback and unreserved support of the audience and the curators who invited us were a blessing at this time.

We are proud to announce that we're resuming our international touring with an intensive tour to Germany in October-November 2024 with not less than 3 full evening productions by artistic director Tamir Ginz. This tour marks a significant milestone in Kamea's ongoing mission to bring world-class inspiring Israeli contemporary dance to international audiences.

We just finshed our summer course at the company’s home and it was an amazing experience! The course was fllowing with positive energy, and the supportive atmosphere and connections amongst the students were a posotive force that drove everyone to progress. The connection with the company’s dancers and Kamea’s unique repertoire language made a deep impression on the students.

The 2024-2025 season of Kamea Dance Company brings many exciting events: a national tour of the evening "White Face," international tours in Germany, a new evening from KAMEA HUB, the company's creative lab, re-staging of "Bamidbar Devarim" by Tamir Ginz, and the 2025 premiere featuring works by international choreographers. We concluded the 2023-2024 season, the 21st in the company's history, during the most challanging time. We held over 100 performances both across the country and abroad, celebrated 3 premieres, and ended the season with a festive brunch with the company staff and dancers, during which we honored excellence awards for the dancers - read more to find out to who.

At the end of August 24 we will hold an intensive dance summer course at the company’s home in Be’er Sheva. From Sunday 18th August to Friday 23rd, for 6 days, the course offers intensive training with classes and workshops with the artistic leaders of the company as well as celebrated guest teachers.

SOUTH, which will premiere on June 2024, brings together 3 creations by artist who are connected to Kamea and are residents of the city of Beer Sheva, the hometown of the Company. The evening is presented as part of the company's vision to encourage and nourish choreographers, under the scope of KAMEA HUB, the company's creative laboratory.

We bring our highly acclaimed "Carmina Burana" back to the stage in May 24. Due to international demand Ginz is revisiting the choreography to create a new adventure, an updated extravaganza. New costume design by Aviad Arik Herman and lighting by Shay Yehudai promise that Carmina Burana 2024 will be more exciting than ever!

On Thursday, March 7, at the Mishkan for Performing Arts in Be'er Sheva & Last Tuesday, March 12 at Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv we celebrated the premiere show "White Face" by Tamir Ginz, the company's artistic director and choreographer, and the spectacular masterpiece "GNAWA" by Nacho Duato (Spain), one of the most important international choreographers of our time. The show was highly praised! Along with the enthusiastic viewers who filled the hall to capacity, many dignitaries arrived...
