Jacopo Godani (Italy-Germany)

Jacopo Godani was born in La Spezia, Italy and began studying ballet and modern dance in 1984 and also completed his studies at the School of Visual Arts. In 1986, he continued his studies at the Mudra International Dance Center in Brussels, founded by choreographer Maurice Bejart. In 1988, he began his career as a dancer in performance with several companies operating in Paris. In 1990, he founded his first company in Brussels and began presenting his works as a choreographer. Between 1991 and 2000, Godani was a soloist dancer in the Dresden-Frankfurt company under the direction of William Forsyth, one of the most important creators of our generation. Godani is considered his protégé and successor. As a choreographer, Godani is one of the most revolutionary creators in the world, having perfected classical ballet into a personal and sophisticated movement language that breaks the norms of classical ballet, both in terms of body and musical use. He is a sought-after choreographer whose works are performed by the world's most renowned companies, including: The Royal Ballet Covent Garden, Bayerisches Staatsballett, Compañía Nacional de Danza, Nederlands Dans Theatre, Royal Danish Ballet, British Columbia Ballet, Le Ballet du Capitole de Toulouse, Corpo di ballo del Teatro alla Scala, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Ballet de l'Opéra National du Rhin, Finnish National Ballet, Ballet Semperoper, Sydney Dance Company, Ballet Het Nationale, Aterballetto, Les Ballets de Monte Carlo and Cedar Lake Contemporary In the 2015-16 dance season, he was appointed Artistic Director of the Frankfurt Dresden Dance Company, succeeding Forsyth, and led the company as house choreographer until 2023, when he retired to pursue a career as a freelance choreographer. Godani is currently creating a new work for Kamea, set to premiere worldwide in March 2025.

Andonis Foniadakis (Greece-France)

Foniadakis was born in Crete, Greece, where he began his dance studies at a local studio. He continued on to the National School of Dance in Athens and thanks to a prestigious scholarship was enabled to study at Maurice Bejart's Rudra School in Switzerland (1992-1994 ).As a dancer, he danced at the Ballet Bejart Lausanne 94-96 under Maurice Bejart himself, at the Lyon Opera Ballet, and with the Karas Company. He performed works by the world's leading choreographers such as Jiri Kylian, Matz Ek, William Forsyth, Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharin and more. In 2016-2018 Foniadakis was the Artistic Director of the Greek Opera Ballet, Athens. As a choreographer, Foniadakis has achieved great success and is invited to create for numerous companies all over the world such as: Darren Aronofsky, Martha Graham Dance Company, Lyon Opera Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, Sydney Dance Company, Introdans, Basel Ballet, Rambert, Aterballetto, Philadelphia Ballet, Geneva Ballet, Bern Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Hannover Ballet, National Dance Company of Spain, National Greek Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Washington Ballet, Ballet de Lorraine, Benjamin Millepied Dance Company, Ballets Jazz of Montreal, Bale da Cidade Brazil, Gauthier Dance, Graz Ballet, Chemnitz Ballet, Saarbrücken Ballet, Mannheim Ballet, Gärtnerplatz Theater, MDT Istanbul, Israel Ballet, Palais de Tokyo, Ballet du Rhin, Florence Ballet, Rijeka Ballet. The work "Kosmos" by Foniadakis will be performed by Kamea Dance Company in 2025

Nacho Duato (Spain)

Nacho Duato is undoubtedly one of the greatest choreographers of our generation. He began his career as an astonishing dancer at NDT under Jiri Kilyan and became an acclaimed choreographer whose works have been staged all over the world by highly acclaimed companies including American Ballet Theatre, Nederlands Dans Theatre, The Australian Ballet, Les Grands Ballets Canadians, Stuttgart Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Co., The Royal Ballet (UK), Paris Opera Ballet and Martha Graham Dance Company. After two decades in which he led the Spanish National Dance Company (CND) and where his best works were created, Duato directed the Michalowski Theater in St. Petersburg. In 2014 - 2019 Duato took over the artistic director position of the Berlin Opera Ballet, Germany. Back in Spain, his creations are mounted in the Spanish National Dance company. Duato presented his masterpiece "GNAWA" in 2017 and 2024 in Kamea.

Marco Goecke (Germany)

Goecka, is considered one of the most appreciated stars of the world dance nowadays. Goecke launched his cooperation with Kamea in 2019 with "Nichts" and in 2022 continued with the staging of his masterpiece "THIN SKIN". Goecke is an associate choreographer at the "Nederlands Dance Theater" (NDT), his works are presented, among others, at the Zurich Ballet, Munich Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, São Paulo Ballet Brazil, Eric Gauthier Ballet Stuttgart, Vienna Opera Ballet and more. From 2020-22 Goecke was the artistic director of the Hanover Opera Ballet. In 22 Marco Goecke was chosen by the Dance Critics of Europe organization as choreographer of the year, in the same year Jiri Kilyan presented him with the "Kiliyan Ring" - a decoration of the Dutch government appointing Goecke as his successor.

Johan Inger (Sweden)

Inger had an unforgettable career as a dancer with the Royal Swedish Ballet and as an exceptional soloist with NDT - Nederlands Dans Theatre as a protégé of Jiri Kilyan. After a spectacular career as a dancer, he directed the Cullberg Ballet in Sweden. In the last 20 years, Inger devoted himself to the career of an independent choreographer and his works are presented in the repertoire of the best companies in the world, among them: NDT, Dresden Sempror Ballet, National Spanish Dance Company (CND), English National Ballet, Ballet Monte Carlo, Aterballeto Italy, Alvin Ailey USA, Stuttgart Ballet, Gothenburg Ballet Sweden and many more. Inger mounted his signature work "RAIN DOGS" in Kamea Dance Company in 2022.

Liran Michaeli

Liran is a choreographer, director and an art creator based in Beer Sheva. At the age of 13, he started dancing in a municipal dance troupe, he continued his training in the dance training track at Bat Dor in Beer Sheva, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in dance from the kibbutzim seminary. Between the years 2013-2019 he initiated and artistically directed the dance stage platform at the Smilansky Festival and The Fringe Theatee Int. Festival, Beer sheva. Liran is the choreographer and the artistic director of the Holit Dance School and Center, the Dance Academy Eshkol and the Ramat HaNegev Dance School. He is a regular director and creator in the international dance festivals "Ashdododance" and the dance festival in Karmiel. As an independent choreographer, in 2014 he won first place at the Eurograde Festival, in Sofia, Bulgaria for his work "Dadon" and in 2015, as part of "Macho Acher" in collaboration with Suzane Dellal, he presented the work "Lundik" in Beer Sheva at the "Shades in Dance" Festival, and created other works both for the stage and for video in an independent production. Liran was invited to create for Kamea by artistic director Tamir Ginz in 2016 ("Berta"), in 2021 ("Zuka"), for his artistic work that year he won the scholarship of the Committee for the Encouragement of Creation of the Swiss Foundation. and in 2024 ("DrEk")

Itzik Galili

Galili graduated from the Bat Dor Dance Studio in Tel Aviv, formerly a dancer in the Bat Dor Dance Company and the Bat Sheva Dance Company. 30 years ago he moved to the Netherlands and became one of the most succesful creators in Europe. Itzik founded and directed the group "GALILI DANCE" in Groningen, 1997-2008, and was one of the founders of the group "DANSGROEP AMSTERDAM", which he led for about a year. His works are staged every year by companies all over the world such as: Stuttgart Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, Rembert Ballet, Cuban Contemporary Ballet, English National Ballet, Mexico National Ballet, Ballet Jazz Montreal and more. Itzik presented "Things I Told Nobody" for Kamea in 2015 and "Peeled" and "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White" in 2019 and 2024.
